Have you checked your bank balance recently?

If you used your credit card on Wednesday 29th August, you may want to check your bank statements , as an estimated 5% of the transactions processed by Cardnet, a payment system used by Lloyds Bank, ( and possibly affecting other banks) could have been duplicated.

If you are one of the unlucky ones your account will have been debited twice, although you would only have received one receipt.

Cardnet are reported to have made refunds this week, but if you have been affected and have not yet received a refund then you should contact your bank.

This highlights that we should all regularly review our bank and credit card statements, as you never know what you may find.
